The VIBO comprises of an electro or mechanically driven vibratory tray mounted on a Rospen, Boss-Mount weighframe. Operationally, the weight of the conveyor is tared off enabling the weight of the product to be continuously and precisely measured. Controlled by a Rospen PLC it displays the conveying rate as kg/hr and total output in kilograms.

The output signal from the weight controller can also be used to:

• Indicate flow rate.
• Totalise flow.
• Control the output of other metering devices in ratio. This method allows the output of several metering feeders or liquid pumps to be ‘rationed’ and held in close tolerance.

Operationally the Pulso is a gravity fed batch weigh hopper mounted on a weighframe and fitted with a pneumatically operated discharge valve controlled by the Rospen PLC.

The weigh belt consists of a weigh frame and a fixed speed belt feeder, which is totally weighed. The weight of the unit is tared to zero, such that only product passing over the belt is weighed. The product weight signal is measured by the PLC and the resultant correction signal is used to speed up or slow down a preconditioning, Metering Screw feeder, to bring the weight of product on the belt back to the pre-set rate:
